Briefing

OPERATION CHROMITE (1.03)

The Invasion of Inchon.
15 September 1950.

Scale: 2.5 Km/Hex.
Climate: Northern Climate Area.
Temperature: Cool
Turn Lenght: 1 Day.
Turns: 17 Turns
Units Size: Compagnies/Battalions

UN Icons: Green, Blue and Yellow.
NKPA Icons: Red and Tan.

After the NKPA Invasion in June 1950
decided MacArthur that he must
seizing the Initiative, and he began
planning this operation for a
Invasion behind enemy Lines. He
choose Inchon, because it's
near Seoul. The Liberation of this
City is for the Free World the
Symbol that no agressor can win,
and so also raise the morale of
the UN Forces. On 25th July he
against Green Light for Operation
Chromite from Washington. The
only Invasion dates, because the
extreme difference in the tides
are 15th September,
27th September and 11th October.
MacArthur choose 15th September.
On 15 September invaded the
Marines of the 1st and 5th Marine
Regiments Inchon. After forming a
Beachhead and receiving
reinforcements they advanced to the
City of Seoul. The City is Liberated by X Corps on 27th September.

The Scenario is best play as UN.

The UN wins as he Capture Seoul.

The NKPA wins as he prevent this
and does isolated the Beachhead..

Because a bug have I equip the 3 Squadrons of MAG 33 with Thunderbolts.

Events:

1. After Capture of Kimpo Airfield the UN receives the 187th RCT and MAG 33 as Reinforcement.

2. Possible Storm.

3. Possible action of
UN Special Forces.

4. Possible NKPA reinforcement
of the 105th Tank Division.

5. Possible NKPA reinforcement of the 44th Independent Tank Regiment.

6. Possible failure of the Eight Army Breakout of the Pursan Perimeter. If this occur is it possible that the NKPA begins a New Offensive. And that
some units from both sides can withdraw to the Pursan Perimeter.

7. Possible Soviet Intervention after capture of Seoul by UN Forces.

(The Idea of this Scenario have I
from a boardgame in the
'Command Magazine' by XTR)
